Pre-rego: the kits above are approved for fitting before the vehicle's first registration, so the higher GVM goes on the compliance plate from day one. Order the kit with your new Triton and we fit it before it's registered.

Already registered: call us on (07) 5572 1711. Whether a post-registration upgrade is possible depends on the vehicle and Queensland rules, and we'll tell you before you spend anything.

What payload you gain

Payload is GVM minus the vehicle's empty weight. The EFS kit raises GVM without changing the empty weight, so the increase in the table is the extra you can legally carry, including a caravan's ball weight. Worked examples are in our guide: how much payload an EFS GVM upgrade adds.

420 kg, depending on the model and its factory GVM. The vehicle's empty weight doesn't change, so every kilogram of the increase is extra payload. See the table for each kit.

Can you fit an EFS GVM upgrade to a registered Triton?

The EFS kits on this page carry federal Vehicle Type Approval for fitting before the vehicle is first registered (pre-rego, second stage of manufacture). If your Triton is already registered, call us: post-registration upgrades are handled under Queensland rules and depend on the vehicle.
