Common questions
Do I need a lift kit, or just new shocks and springs?
If your 4WD sits low at the rear, wallows on corrugations or bottoms out with a load, springs and shocks matched to the weight you carry usually fix it. A lift adds ground clearance for beach and off-road driving and room for bigger tyres.
Tell us how you use the vehicle and we'll recommend the simplest setup that works.
Will a lift kit or bull bar void my new-car warranty?
Fitting aftermarket parts doesn't automatically void your warranty under Australian Consumer Law. A fault caused by the modification may not be covered by the vehicle maker, which is why we fit to EFS specifications. EFS parts carry their own warranty.
Do I need a GVM upgrade to tow my caravan?
If your loaded vehicle plus the van's ball weight goes over the vehicle's GVM, yes. Canopies, drawers, water, a fridge and passengers add up fast. Send us your vehicle and what you carry and we'll work it out with you.
Are EFS bull bars airbag compatible and ADR compliant?
Yes. EFS Xcape and Stockman bars comply with Australian Design Rules and are airbag compatible for the vehicles they're built for. We confirm sensor and radar compatibility for your exact model before you order.
Are your prices the EFS RRP?
Yes. We list EFS's recommended retail price for every product. Fitting depends on your vehicle, so we quote it with your job and you get one clear price before we start.
Do you have EFS gear for the new HiLux, Triton, Navara and Prado 250?
Yes. EFS has released suspension, bull bars and GVM kits for the latest models, including the N90 HiLux, MV Triton, D27 Navara, Prado 250, Ranger and Everest Next Gen, LandCruiser 300, GWM Cannon and Tank, and JAC T9. Pick your vehicle on the lift kit page or ask us.
